Canine Compassion GP Cancellation Policies
The services you book are very important to Canine Compassion GP. They are reserved especially for you! Please understand that when you forget about or cancel your booking without giving enough notice, the opportunity is missed to fill the allotted time, leaving clients on the waitlist missing the opportunity to receive services.
Cancellation of Drop-ins and Neighbourhood Walks
For first-time offenders:

With less than 24 hours notice before the start of your requested service (drop-in and/or neighbourhood walk), you will be billed 25% of the total cost of the service*. This also applies to same-day bookings which are subsequently cancelled.

If drop-in and/or neighbourhood walking services are to be cancelled upon/after my arrival at the service location, you will be billed 50% of the total cost of the service*.
For repeat offenders (twice or more):
With less than 24 hours notice before the start of your requested service (drop-in and/or neighbourhood walk), you will be billed 50% of the total cost of the service*. This also applies to same-day bookings which are subsequently cancelled.
If drop-in and/or neighbourhood walking services are to be cancelled upon/after my arrival at the service location, you will be billed 100% of the total cost of the service*.
A deposit may be required from clients who cancel without sufficient notice more than twice.
Cancellation of Adventure Walks
For first time offenders:

With less than 48 hours notice before the start of your requested Adventure Walk, you will be billed 40% of the total cost of the service*. This also applies to same-day bookings which are subsequently cancelled.

With less than 24 hours notice before the start of your requested adventure walk, you will be billed 70% of the total cost of the service*. This also applies to same-day bookings which are subsequently cancelled.
For repeat offenders (twice or more):

With less than 48 hours notice before the start of your requested Adventure Walk, you will be billed 70% of the total cost of the service*. This also applies to same-day bookings which are subsequently cancelled.

If an adventure walk service is to be canceled within 24 hours, including upon/after my arrival at the service location, you will be billed 100% of the total cost of the service*.

A deposit may be required from clients who cancel without sufficient notice more than twice.
Cancellation of Overnight In-Home Care
For first time offenders:
With less than 7 days notice before the start of your requested overnight care, you will be billed 25% of the total cost of your service*. This also applies to same-day bookings which are subsequently cancelled.
With less than 4 days notice before the start of your requested overnight care, you will be billed 50% of the total cost of your service*. This also applies to same-day bookings which are subsequently cancelled.
With less than 48 hours notice before the start of your requested overnight care, you will be billed 80% of the total cost of your service*. This also applies to same-day bookings which are subsequently cancelled.
For repeat offenders (twice or more):

With less than 7 days notice before the start of your requested overnight care, you will be billed 50% of the total cost of your service*. This also applies to same-day bookings which are subsequently cancelled.

With less than 4 days notice before the start of your requested overnight care, you will be billed 75% of the total cost of your service*. This also applies to same-day bookings which are subsequently cancelled.

With less than 48 hours notice before the start of your requested overnight care, you will be billed 100% of the total cost of your service*. This also applies to same-day bookings which are subsequently cancelled.
Cancellation of 6-Week Day Train Program

Refunds will not be given to clients if they decide to withdraw their dog(s) from a 6-week program with less than 7 days’ notice from the date they are subject to begin the program. Day Train Sessions are non-transferable and cannot have a different dog stand in for Dog who is initially signed up for the specific date and time chosen by the client.

If a client must cancel the first scheduled session of the Program for any reason within 7 days of the start date or any session thereafter during the 6 weeks of the Program, the client will not receive a prorated refund, nor a credit for the cancelled sessions. Canine Compassion GP reserves the right to terminate the working relationship with the client for any reason, without subjecting the client to a refund or credit.

If the trainer must cancel a session at any time, for any reason, an alternate session date and time slot will be offered. If the client and trainer cannot mutually agree on an alternate date and time slot to move the cancelled session to, the client will not receive a prorated refund, nor a credit for the cancelled Session.
Applicable cancellation fees must be paid before the next date of service, along with any outstanding balances from completed services. If no payment has been arranged by the time of 24 hours before starting the next scheduled service, that service will be automatically cancelled and subject to another cancellation fee. All future services that have been scheduled from that point on will be cancelled until all outstanding fees have been paid.
Services that have been cancelled due to weather conditions or a mutually understanding reason are not subject to cancellation fees. If you are unsure if your cancelled service will incur applicable fees, please don't hesitate to ask!
* The total cost of the service includes all applicable add-on fees, such as holiday/stat fees, travel add-on fees, and additional pet fees.
